Mick Jagger Andy Warhol Surfboard
By Tim Bessell
Located in Greenwich, CT
Mick Brown 78 x 20 x 2.5 inches Swallow tail surfboard and print Edition 11 of 12 Acquired from artist's studio Artist COA adhered to backside of each board. Signed by both Tim Bessell and Andy Warhol Foundation. Image of musician Mick Brown printed on a swallow tail surfboard. Tim Bessel’s career marks a confluence of surfing experience and artistic inspiration to create some of the best custom surfboards in the world. Surfboard shapers and surfers alike, from all over the world, know the name, Tim Bessell. At a very young age, Tim Bessell was exposed to the infectious world of art by his mother, which would coincidentally influence his future to come. At only thirteen years old, Tim was making a name for himself as a surfer in his home town of La Jolla, California when he also began shaping surfboards, becoming one of the youngest surfboard shapers in the industry. Three years later Tim moved to Hawaii to prove he has what it takes to be a shaper on the North Shore. He began shaping custom surfboards for Lightning Bolt, one of Hawaii's premier surfboard manufacturers known for the infamous lightning gun shape of the 70's ridden by legendary Gerry Lopez. In fact, Tim Bessell would later become one of the few shapers allowed to manufacture surfboards under the Lightning Bolt name. After legitimizing himself as a shaper, Tim returned to San Diego, California to open Bessell Surfboards. By 1987, Bessell Surfboards had grown into one of the largest surfboard manufacturers in Southern California. Tim also made a name for himself as an artist, with exhibitions as far away as Japan. To date, Tim has produced over 46,000 surfboards. His boards have graced the covers of Surfer Magazine, Surfing Magazine, Beach Culture, and countless other surfing magazines. Many world class surfers have ridden Bessell Surfboards including: Peter King, Luke Egan, Jon Roseman, Glen Winton, Brad Gerlach, Vetea David, Ricky Irons, David MacAulay...

A worthless painting is stolen and Batman and Robin summon The Flash and Superman to help capture the thief while "G" the gopher practices his painting technique...____________ but why for a worthless painting.________________ to be continued. This one of a kind, work on canvas titled "Wild Day in Gotham" measures 42x30" framed, canvas size is 40x28". It combines images of Ceravolo's original super hero paintings with a mixture of images from vintage comic books. Once Ceravolo is satisfied with the composition he then prints the one of a kind image on canvas at his studio using pigmented inks and then adds hand work to the art with spray paint, acrylic and polymer. Ceravolo's paintings are in many influential corporate and private collections, including: ELTON JOHN, ROD STEWART, HUGH M. She Devil Island, 31x39 framed, Sci Fi mixed Media image with hand work
By Ceravolo
Located in Southampton, NY
This new work by Ceravolo combines images of his pop art paintings with images from vintage comic books, where Ceravolo has, in a satirical way, added his gopher muse "G" on the moon to add to the outer space grouping. After Ceravolo has combined and arranged the images where he feels they are in the perfect position, he then adds hand work with acrylic polymer to the finished art. Titled "She Devil Island" it measures 31x39" framed. Ceravolo's paintings are in many influential corporate and private collections, including: ELTON JOHN, ROD STEWART, HUGH M. HEFNER, DAVID BRENNER, MONIQUE VAN VOOREN, WARNER BROS., RCA RECORDS AND SCHENLEY INDUSTRIES to name a few. We have included in this listing an image of Ceravolo with some of his famous collectors. The art of Ceravolo came to popular attention when he was commissioned to create 5 large scale oil on canvas portraits of Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Frank Zappa, Neil Young and Hall and Oates...
