An assortment of flowers bursts from a vase in this predominantly cool composition of blues and greens. The swirling botanical pattern on the tablecloth echoes the lavish arrangement of the bouquet, while shadows add a touch of moodiness. Artist Autumn Rose used acrylic paint and pen to create the intricate details and texture of the piece.

About the Artist
Artist Autumn Rose paints expressionist botanical arrangements, finding endless inspiration in the colors of her daily life. "I am constantly driven to paint in a free-spirited style with lots of movement, big strokes, and vitality," says Autumn. She employs various media and tools to generate texture and depth in her work. Guided by intuition rather than plan, Autumn creates floral and herbage explorations with a notable focus on still life. Pastel pinks and greens are typical colors across her body of work, applied onto darker backgrounds, resulting in dramatic effects. Autumn creates intriguing layers and definitive linework, offering a delightful variety of visual cues. She affectionately calls her workspace in Phoenix a "shudio," since it is a conversion from a shed in her backyard. The area receives incredible light and breathtaking views of her desert garden whenever she paints. "It's always my hope that when someone sees my art, they will feel a sense of wonder and joy."
