An letter written by the Roman school artist to invite his first promoter to his solo-exhibition at 19 Rue de Marignan in Paris. This letters with all the details of the new Cagli's projects is an incredible source of information for the historian of arts and connaisseur! The 1935 is an important year for the young artist: between April and May Cagli organises a first solo show of fifty drawings at the new Galleria La Cometa of the Countess Anna Laetitia (Mimi) Pecci Blunt, directed by Libero De Libero and by Cagli himself, inaugurated in that occasion. The gallery will carry out until 1938, thanks to the influence of Cagli, an important work of cultural diffusion of an anti-nineteenth century style. At the end of 1938, he was exiled, following the proclamation of racial laws and the intensification of anti-Semitic attacks against his person and his work. He settled at first in Paris, where he continued to exhibit and, at the end of 1939, from Cherbourg, he embarked for New York. Before his leaving, he realized the exhibition mentioned above, in 19 Rue de Marignan in Paris.
