A New Cagli's Period - Autograph is an interesting L.A.S.s.d. Autograph Letter Signed and Dated) by the Italian artist, Corrado Cagli (1910-1976) to the Countess and patron of arts, Anna Laetitia Pecci-Blunt.
This is surely a letter sent by hand. Rome, 2nd May. Likely around the Fourties, the Fifties. Date and place written on the lower left margin.
Including the original envelope with a black ink autograph notes. To send to Malatesta Palace. One sheet, one-sided. In Italian. Signed "Corrado".
This is a really interesting thank-you letter for a payment received by the artist of the Roman school and donated by the mentor Italian-American Countess Pecci-Blunt. With all the details of the new Cagli's projects, exhibitions, artworks and business trips.

Corrado Cagli
Corrado Cagli was an Italian painter of Jewish heritage, who lived in the United States during World War II. He was born in Ancona, but he moved with his family to Rome in 1915 at the age of five. In 1927, Cagli made his artistic debut, with a mural painted on a building in Via Sistina. The following year, he made another mural painting in a hall in Via Vantaggio. In 1932, Cagli held his first personal exhibition at the Gallery of Art of Rome.
