A glowing spring sunset along Highway 1 in Big Sur. "I was inspired by the bounty of California coastal wildflowers," says Kajal Zaveri. "They are a treat for all the senses - an explosion of bright, happy colors against the expanse of blue water."

About the Artist
Kajal Zaveri uses her observations, encounters, and memories of beautiful, natural scenes as the basis for her abstract works. “The colors and styling of my pieces evoke that sense of gratitude, joy, amazement and wonderment that I feel every day,” she explains. She hopes her paintings spark the viewer’s own fond memories of certain places and times. When she’s not painting, she enjoys reading and cooking recipes from around the world.
