This large porcelain gaming plate, circa 1830, has the signature "M. Hanarte" embedded within its charming playing card design, adding to its authenticity and appeal. Measuring ~13 inches in diameter, this piece is in very good overall condition. All the cards are black or red on white depending on which suit they are. Hand-painted and one-of-a-kind, this amazing porcelain plate showcases the artistry of its time. Perfect for collectors of vintage porcelain, gaming memorabilia, or anyone who appreciates unique, handcrafted pieces with a nostalgic flair. This is one of two large gaming plates available. Provenance (*please see photographs of the bottom of the plate): Petrus Regout & Co. Maastright (made in Holland) with the number "12" engraved above.
