Artwork from my Cityscape series. I like to use rain as a theme in my paintings because it is romantic and creates a cozy feeling. Flickering light and reflections after rain in Central Park, New York.
About the Artist
Stanislav Sidorov saturates his canvas with the expressive color characteristic of the Russian Realist School. While he is a versatile painter, Stanislav prefers painting the small town charms found in architecture and urban environments. He achieves a textured feel by using the pallet knife to apply copious amounts of emotion.
