MEDIUM: ​Original Production Cel on Printed Background IMAGE SIZE: 11.5" x 9" PRODUCTION: Looney Tunes YEAR: 1963 SKU: CCV1626 FRAMING: Price includes framing ABOUT THE IMAGE: In this Robert McKimson-directed late-Golden Age short, Daffy Duck is lost, wandering through the broiling hot desert with no provisions. He finds no water, but instead locates a huge gold nugget. Daffy, being the "greedy little duck" that he is, finds himself reluctant to trade the nugget for water offered by a mouse. Here's a great full-figure hand-painted production cel of Daffy and his big lump of gold; his image size is approximately 3.75" x 4.5". Looney Tunes is a series of animated short films by Warner Bros. It was produced from 1930 to 1969 during the Golden Age of American Animation, alongside its sister series, Merrie Melodies. This piece comes with a certificate of authenticity. ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Original production cels are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that were used in the creation of an animated film or television show. Each has been hand-painted by studio artists on a piece of celluloid acetate, and has been photographed over a background painting to create a frame of the finished production.
