ABOUT ALANNA EAKIN
Alanna Eakin (b.1988) is a British painter. She lives in London and works from her studio in Wimbledon. Graduating in 2010 with a BA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martin’s London. Alanna took a step back after graduating. It is only in the past few years Alanna has gone on to seriously develop her professional art career and has since taken part in several exhibitions and art fairs in London and nationwide. Her work is constantly evolving and developing.
Alanna's work is inspired by nature, particularly exotic places like deserts where the colours are richer and highly saturated. She is drawn to vast desolate expanses, voids, devoid of human activity. It is the comforting and calming nature of these places that she wishes to translate to the viewer.
Alanna's work is unapologetically colourful, a staple that has been with her since a young age. Often her technique is decidedly abstracted, however recently she has been producing figurative features like trees and acknowledging the representation between sky and land.”

Alanna Eakin
Alanna Eakin is an emerging British painter. She completed a BA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins London, graduating in 2010. It is only in the past few years, Eakin has gone on to seriously develop her professional art career and has since taken part in several exhibitions and art fairs in London and nationwide. She is currently working from her studio in Wimbledon, London. Eakin creates gestural abstract paintings inspired by the sensations, forms, light and colors found in nature. She has an obsession with color, rural landscapes from around the world and also florals found in nature. The form can often develop in her paintings but usually as a result of previously made marks and intuition and is not entirely representational. Eakin’s work has an initial immediacy when she creates. She predominantly uses acrylic paint and sometimes a mixture of other mediums to layer, edit and experiment. Eakin ’s approach is inspired by the likes of Joan Mitchell, Helen Frankenthaler, Monet, Tracey Emin, Peter Doig, Georgia O’Keeffe and many more.

Fereshteh Stoecklein artistic journey began at the impressionist school of painting ‘Ecole des Arts Francais’.
Her husband’s career as a hotelier of a luxury hotel chain meant living in many different countries, so to her exploration of art followed suit. In Malaysia, she was inspired by Chinese brush painting, studying under three masters in the art of calligraphy, Chinese ink and colour brush painting. Her versatility as an artist has expanded such that she has painted Chinese brush to watercolours to abstract acrylics - a truly astounding creative palette.
