Grey, black and rose 16.0 x 20.0 x 0.8, 13.2 lbs Acrylic and chalk on canvas Hand signed by artist Artist's Commentary: "The canvas is the representation of a three-dimensional landscape that becomes two-dimensional through my abstract vision of reality. Each color is a field, an area, where one color transmits its possible reading to the next, interspersed with areas of different colors which give break and diversity to the composition. Everything is done first with a plaster base, rabbit bone glue and newspaper. When everything is dry, the colors go on top, in this case acrylics Then at the end the details with oil pastels. This analogue way of working, far from new technologies, guarantees a long life of the objects and greater color resistance. This work, together with others, talks about the climate problem through what I refer to as an 'anemic landscape', a place devoid of something, a place of the future where nature will flatten out and leave us only with earth and sky. From the point of view of the interiors, the proposed theme is not a painting with bright colors but with natural and delicate tones but arranged in an aggressive way to leave space for the viewer to reflect on what he sees." About the Artist: Alessio has been drawing and painting since the age of 10, then he graduated from the Martini Art Institute and attended the Academy in Florence. He works in the advertising field (Leodari advertising) and in the logistics sector (SMIPA). He paints at night and in his free time, until all this is no longer enough and he begins a journey fully dedicated to painting. ARTISTIC FEATURES Alessio's work is focused on the abstract vision of reality. His art is an interpretation of nature and the perception of it filtered by his mind. His way of representing the world is meditative and conceptual. Alessio finds inspiration from the minimalism and abstract expressionism of the New York School, such as Rothko or Pollock but also by Basquiat and Kline.His paintings are often a purification of the original image, created to inspire the observer to think and ask questions about what he sees through his critical sense.Everything is created by him in an analogical way , with discreet colors, and with taste, without excesses or strong tones. Brushes, spatulas, rags and with the help of various materials (including construction) are the tools to make his work possible
