Artist's Commentary:
"This canvas is part of the series of works called 'mural impressions'. They are artefacts that focus on the conceptual relationship between man and the wear of time or atmospheric events that act on buildings or constructions erected by man. I create and bring to the viewer's vision a corroded or worn mural space and through meticulous work that allows me to enhance something that we often see but do not give value to. There is a story even behind something as simple as the representation of a wall consumed. And the texture, the surface that makes the product unpredictable and so strongly contemporary in interior design, is interesting from an artistic point of view. Perfectly framed in black handmade wood that enhances the white of the monochrome. Medium: microcement, plaster, white acrylic in various tones, graphite and charcoal. Ready to hang. Certificate of authentication and stamp and signature on the back of the work."
About the Artist:
Alessio has been drawing and painting since the age of 10, then he graduated from the Martini Art Institute and attended the Academy in Florence. He works in the advertising field (Leodari advertising) and in the logistics sector (SMIPA). He paints at night and in his free time, until all this is no longer enough and he begins a journey fully dedicated to painting. ARTISTIC FEATURES Alessio's work is focused on the abstract vision of reality. His art is an interpretation of nature and the perception of it filtered by his mind. His way of representing the world is meditative and conceptual. Alessio finds inspiration from the minimalism and abstract expressionism of the New York School, such as Rothko or Pollock but also by Basquiat and Kline.His paintings are often a purification of the original image, created to inspire the observer to think and ask questions about what he sees through his critical sense.Everything is created by him in an analogical way , with discreet colors, and with taste, without excesses or strong tones. Brushes, spatulas, rags and with the help of various materials (including construction) are the tools to make his work possible
