Encaustic and oil with acrylic frame
1/1, While experiencing the flow and drips of molten beeswax and the partial mixing of blue, cyan and purple in Pool Lights, calm is created within chaos. The white overlay guides the viewer towards the contrasting dark blue passages representing endless and uncharted terrain. Simultaneously, the fluid lines capture the essence and movement of water. As with all of Andrea’s textural encaustic works, the torching and layering of molten beeswax with oil are reflective of nature’s life force.
