About the Item
He painting "Behind the Scenes" offers the viewer an unusual perspective on a circus performance – from inside the arena, moments before or immediately after a show. Energetic and thick strokes of oil paint create a sense of movement and bustle characteristic of the backstage life of the circus.
In the foreground, a large, round arena dominates, painted with broad, impasto strokes of white and light blue, conveying its illuminated surface. In the center of the arena, barely discernible outlines of props can be seen – perhaps stands or ladders, hinting at a recently concluded or upcoming show.
Behind the arena, like a curtain, rise the bright red circus tents, painted with bold, impressionistic strokes. Their folds and drapery are rendered expressively, using various shades of red and orange, which adds dynamism. A bright white light bursts from under the tent, contrasting with the darker blue background of the upper part of the painting, symbolizing the magic and illumination of the performance itself.
Around the arena, the silhouettes of spectators are visible, depicted in a generalized manner, without clear details. They are painted with quick strokes of different colors, creating a sense of a crowd watching the action. Above, against the blue sky, fragments of the circus tent structures and small flags are visible, adding to the atmosphere.
Of particular note is the figure of a person depicted in the upper right. Their silhouette, painted in a dark color, seems to be observing the arena from a height, perhaps a circus worker, performer, or technician preparing for their work.
"Behind the Scenes" is not just a depiction of the circus; it's an emotional snapshot of the moment when the magic of the performance is about to happen or has just ended. The painting conveys a sense of anticipation, energy, and the unique atmosphere of the circus backstage.

"Observers"
Located in Edinburgh, GB
Sure, here's the translation of the art critic's description of "The Observers" into English:
Title: The Observers
Technique: Oil on canvas
Style: Expressionism with elements of symbolism
Composition:
The painting's composition is asymmetrical, creating a sense of dynamism and instability.
The figures of the observers are located in the lower part of the canvas, occupying a large portion of it. Their gazes are directed upwards, beyond the confines of the painting, creating a sense of mystery and uncertainty.
The upper part of the canvas represents an abstract space filled with luminous dots and brushstrokes. This space contrasts with the figures of the observers and creates a sense of otherworldliness or unreality.
Color:
The painting's color palette is restrained, with a predominance of dark tones: black, gray, blue.
Light tones are used to depict the figures of the observers and the luminous dots in the upper part of the canvas.
The contrast between dark and light tones creates a sense of drama and tension...
