A chosen piece from extensive painting journeys in Wiltshire and Somerset along the River Avon and its tributaries.
Gradwell paints 'plien air' on the spot in time and space when the time is right during the process. He doesn't record a scene and prefers to focus on the whole experience of light and shapes in a particular time.
His work is an amalgamation of the experience daily.
