Gradwell' s later pieces are becoming a 'distillation of experience and all learnt with the medium as a masterful concentration.. : 'I attempt to find the Essence of a place and time with my own language . I have found less is more whence I establish the structures I wish to reflect and mark make with better understanding of what is subjective to me.. The Macro and the microcosm become of equal measure as a purpose to make every prayer reality . To consantly try for connection seems a worthy persuit. What seems ugly now can be beauitful in this chance' Gradwell 2015.
