Tree with Red, Pink, White & Blue Abstract Forest Background by British Landscape Artist, Angela Wakefield. From the 'Spring Burst' Interior Design Series. Framed in a high quality contemporary off-white wooden moulding.

Vivid red basal earthy tones merge into azure sky as a solid tree soars skyward crowned with abstract foliage and an intimation of blossoms. The physicality of the materials give a sense of substance to the matter with feelings of submerged coral and other elemental indicators reminiscent of water, air bubbles overseen by the titanic weight of atmosphere and molecular substance interconnected on physical and metaphorical layers for the viewer to interpret for themselves.
Angela Wakefield has twice been on the front cover of ‘Art of England’ and featured in ARTnews, attracting international attention and critical acclaim with her urban landscape paintings of New York, London & the North of England. The style of painting has been described as ‘contemporary realism’, and is often favourably compared with Edward Hopper by collectors and art critics.
