About the Item
This is a mixed media painting with acrylic on canvas and a reflective surface in dark earth tones, such as burgundy, rich brown, and gold. A radiating pattern in a circular madala radiates out from the center, creating a highly textured surface. This is a deep canvas where the edges show lots of visual activity (drip marks and brushwork), so there is no need to frame. Shows best in a light-filled environment.
