In this abstract oil painting, Dintino brings about images of bloody battles, or crusades. The red is angry and at some points dark, though he juxtaposes that with a bright and influential light. This light is quite god-like, which makes sense when put in the context of the Crusades. The blurred colors in this piece almost read as 'nostalgic' or historical, that the image of the past is so old that it has blurred with age. Dintino's work has to do with the melding of title and piece. His paintings all illustrate his ideas and words through visuality and color. Creating large panoramic pieces makes his work atmospheric and immersive, allowing the viewer to literally feel the title of his painting.
