Winter trees (Abstract painting)

2019

About the Item

Winter trees (Abstract painting) Acrylic and oil pastel on raw un-stretched canvas - Unframed. This work will be shipped rolled in a tube. This method is especially safe for large works, and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival. Artwork exclusive to IdeelArt. Materiality and soul are essential to the work of Nashville-based multimedia artist Brooke Noel Morgan. Her muted, biomorphic abstractions are intimately expressive of both her conscious, and subconscious, connections with the natural world. Through mindful use of gesture, texturally and scale, Morgan strives to create objects that will instigate moments of introspection for viewers. Minimal and mindful, her works make simple, declarative visual statements that foster soulful relationships between human sensibilities and built spaces. Through her lifestyle brand Nomad Collective, Morgan brings her own artworks into conversation with the works of other like minded artists and craftspeople from around the world, introducing the global marketplace to the possibilities of a sublime, aesthetic collaboration between art and life.

By Olympio
Located in West Hollywood, CA
Olympio creates abstract compositions that reflect his internal rhythms, resulting in bold, expressive paintings. Working intuitively, the artist defines his work as his own personal language—an unspoken expression of his soul. Each piece is both everything and nothing; as simple as a heartbeat, as complex as a hurricane. Born in Lomé, Togo, the self-taught West-African artist spent time in Paris before moving to the United States. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Work by Olympio has been widely exhibited around the world at museums including: the Latino Art...
