Entitled "We," this exquisite woodcut by Chinese artist Ren Hui celebrates joy and the beauty of humanity with a crowd of smiling faces. Using a style he calls “uncomplicated and honest,” the artist creates beautiful compositions by carving small notches into a painted wood background. Ren Hui's artworks reflect the artist’s richness of experience - he’s been a soldier, a factory worker, and a photographer documenting life from Nanjing to Tibet.
