Description:
An original oil painting by Craig Moran. This Abstract Expressionist style painting uses bright colors and active brushstrokes to create a composition that feels as though it is almost moving. The geometric shapes sweep across the canvas in a surreal dance.

About the Artist:
Craig Moran was born in Washington, DC, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Studio Art at the University of Virginia (UVA). He received a fifth-year arts fellowship at UVA, and completed a Post-Baccalaureate in Painting and Drawing at the School of Art Institute of Chicago. Mr. Moran has lived in San Francisco and Chicago, as well as various parts of Virginia. He currently resides in Washington, DC.
