Artist Craig Rouse depicts a simplified abstract environment composed of stacked cubes. Part of his NAR series, meaning No Assembly Required. He uses a hard-edge painting style with abrupt transitions between the different ranges and consistencies. He builds what he calls Architectural Abstractions with constructive linework and a color-blocking palette of 14 colors.
