"This piece was inspired by the challenges that we all face at times," shares artist Cynthia Ligeros. "When the world changes for the worse overnight, it's not easy to keep going. It's hard to find the strength to hold everything together when it feels like everything is falling apart. This painting is about finding the strength to continue on. It's about forging ahead, despite everything. It's about being unbreakable and reaching the bright future ahead."

Cynthia Ligeros creates abstract, complex works that usually begin with a single driving emotion. She currently lives in Colorado and loves the work of many artists, such as Mark Rothko. Cynthia loves finding inspiration in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. If you look closely at any of her paintings, you can find a little bit of blue sky hidden somewhere.
