About the Item

When we fall in love with someone, do we see them for who they really are, or only what we dream of seeing in them? Who is the bigger deceiver—the one who pretended, or the one who loved the imagined image? The collapse of illusions causes pain, but it’s the right kind of pain, a pain that heals. Sometimes, to learn to feel life again, you first need to learn to feel pain again. In my artistic practice, I explore and document my personal experience of sensory experiences and transformations of my consciousness at different stages of my life journey. Growing up as an orphan in a boarding school, I was raised in a different world than ordinary children, and now, as an adult, I'm beginning to realize just how different these worlds are. I understand happiness as the right to live in accordance with my inner values. But how can one understand what their true inner values are in a world where something is always being imposed on us? How to find oneself and gain the strength to live in a world full of evil? I explore the hidden territories of my consciousness in search of inner support that will enable me to withstand the global chaos and remain true to myself. The theme of searching for inner support is especially relevant now because the world is changing rapidly, and in order to not get lost in all the changes, one needs to clearly understand their role and place in this world. I hope, through my work, to shift the viewer's focus from the external world to their own internal world, to better understand themselves, their values, their desires, and their role in this world. In the moment of creating my works, I immerse myself in a state of high sensitivity and try to capture the moment of feeling. My aim is to show that experiencing negative emotions is normal and that this is the most important moment in life - because it is a moment of transformation.
