Kupferman's piece is an embodiment of inner consciousness, a manifestation of the artist's exploration of the ever-expanding realm of the human spirit. It beckons viewers to journey within, to reflect on the mysterious depths of their own existence and the cosmic forces that shape our lives.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
David Kupferman grew up in Newton, MA, the son of artists Ruth Cobb and Lawrence Kupferman. Learning a great deal about art from his parents, David was educated in Switzerland and at the University of Wisconsin. He summered for many years on Cape Cod which inspired much of his art. He is the recipient of grants from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and the Adolph Gottlieb Foundation. David currently lives in Fairfield, Iowa.
David's large abstract color paintings evoke the light and mood of the inner and outer landscape. Kupferman's work is a unique fusion of Eastern and Western art, celebratory of the inner and outer flow of universal light, energy and spirit. David's works are in many museums, private collections and corporations.

Evan Stuart Marshall is an award-winning contemporary abstract painter based in Roseland, New Jersey. Born in Boston and raised in Sharon, Massachusetts, he lives and works in Roseland, New Jersey. Largely self-taught, Evan has received numerous awards for his work, including the Mary Koether Merit Award from the West Essex (New Jersey) Art Association. His work has been featured in many juried exhibitions, both solo and group, and is held in many private collections around the world.
