David Lan-Bar - 1912 - 1987
David Lan Bar was a fundamental painter of the second Ecole de Paris.
He was born in 1912 in Poland, he flee religious persecutions and emigrated to Palestine in 1935. From 1947 he lived and worked in Paris.
He exhibited in many different important galleries and museums and his works are part of the collections of the Musée d'art Modern of Paris and the Museum of Tel Aviv.
He gained the honorus title of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in France.
