The Decent Series
The realization that wholeness comes from self reflection and a dive into the depths of the shadow. An exploration of the dark caverns to find the glimmering gems at the core. Light and color into shadow and fog.
Devon Farber is a painter born in New York into a family of artists. He currently lives and works in New York. He attended the School of The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. His work focuses on a personal journey through the psyche, seeking an evolution of the spirit. He has shown his work internationally and in the US.
Throughout Farber’s work there is a reoccurring theme of the “self” fading away and returning to a blissful state of interconnection. He incorporates temporary materials into his paintings, such as charcoal or Instagram stories to highlight the transient nature of strife, mortality and impermanence. He also takes materials of temporary nature and brings them to a state of immutability. This concept becomes a focus in much of his work; blurring lines of personal separation, while emphasizing spiritual evolution by delving into the caverns of the psyche.

Shadow Dreams
By Marthann Masterson
Located in New Orleans, LA
Marthann Masterson’s abstract paintings are expressions of the energizing force of joy. Masterson has developed an artistic practice where lines of colorful acrylic paint are poured from the top of each canvas one inch apart, combined with mixed media, leaving her signature drip marks at the bottom. In her most recent body of work, Masterson’s application of bold vibrant colors has become more deliberate, exploring a new range of colors without inhibition. Masterson received formal instruction in painting at the Glassell School of Arts, Museum of Fine Arts Houston. The artist has exhibited her work throughout New York, Florida and Texas, where she had a solo exhibition with Octavia Art Gallery...
