Artist Comments
Soft blues and gold evoke the serene meeting of the ocean and horizon. The abstract depiction enhances the atmospheric quality, while the shimmering colors add an elegant touch to the piece.
About the Artist
DL Watson creates semi-abstract paintings with floral and botanical references. Splitting her time between Florida and Oregon, she finds inspiration in the patterns that repeat themselves throughout the natural world. While her paintings are often grounded in her own childhood memories and past experiences, they evoke a beauty that is universal in their natural subject matter. She creates interest and intrigue through the color and movement that she uses to balance her composition.

Artist Patrick Duffy presents an abstract dialogue between the imagination and the fundamentals of all things space. Geometric shapes develop through the minimal presentation of contrasting textures. He explores newly learned concepts and unique ways to visualize the cosmos through design. Within his creative process, shapes become symbols of time, guiding the eye and mind to think of dark solar windswept patterns that are balanced and engaging.

Patrick received his BFA from Pratt Institute in 2006, being part of many shows in New York, New England, and Houston, TX. Publications include The New York Times, “Things to See in the Hudson Valley†for the exhibition “Intricate Realities†at the Catskill Arts Society in 2016, as well as “Creating in Color†for Trouvé Magazine Volume 3 in 2015.
