"I do believe that energy and mood are transferred to my work," says artist DL Watson of the painting process. "This was created with the influence of an upbeat playlist. When I look at this piece I can hear the music and feel its energy."

DL Watson creates semi-abstract paintings with floral and botanical references. Splitting her time between Florida and Oregon, she finds inspiration in the patterns that repeat themselves throughout the natural world.
