Dominika Krechowicz is a professor at the Gdansk GUT Institute
Flags 1, 175 x 170 cm, acrylic, pigment on paper, 1999, composed of 20 elements, a single part is 30 x 40 cm.
Works from the Flags series were created in the years: from 1996 to 2000. The works are made with acrylic technique on Fabriano watercolor paper. The works are made up of many parts. They create compositions in the shape of a rectangle or square. The works are framed in white metal frames, without glass. The works should be displayed in a specific shape and sequence presented in the photo. They are numbered on the back. Leave a space of 5 cm between the individual elements of the image. Each work item is signed in the lower right corner: D.KR
Dominika Krechowicz
Born in 1964 in Gdańsk. Studies at the State College of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Faculty of Painting and Graphics. Diploma in the studio of prof. Kazimierz Ostrowski in 1988. Since 1996 she has been working at the Department of Visual Arts at the Faculty of Architecture of the Gdańsk University of Technology, currently working as a professor at GUT. From 1995 to 2003, she was a co-author of the "Koło" gallery in Gdańsk.

1991 - Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and Art
1994 - Honorable mention in the competition "Gdańsk Graphics of the Year 1993"
1997 - Bronze medal and award of the Mayor of Bielsko-Biała in the XXXIII National Painting Competition "Bielska Jesień 1997"
1999 - participation in the international art project "Interim", Schloss Plüschow (Germany)
2002 - Scholarship of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship
2006 – Scholarship The Pollock - Krasner Foundation
2013 - Sopot City Scholarship for people involved in artistic activity
