About the Item
Oil on canvas
Dong Ya-Ping is a Chinese artist born in 1974 who works & lives in Beijing, China. The story of her lines goes back to 2007. The LINE is a sign of her existential traces rather than something extracted from her emotions. They are rhythmical, extending beyond the limit of the canvas, whose beginning and ending we cannot pursue. They cross, juxtapose and intertwine soundlessly on a plane surface, creating a multi-dimensional world that transcends time and space.

My Heart Goes Red out to You
Located in Rockville, MD
The vibrant red marks in this painting burst forth with passion and intensity, as if the heart is beating within the canvas. The oblique composition and veining traces of breathing add a sense of movement and flow, as if the very essence of love is alive and pulsating within the canvas. The use of primary colors and expansive sense of dark and bright colors create a powerful visual impact that is not possible to be ignored. This art work truly captures the beauty and competency of love and is surely to leave a lasting impression on anyone who sees it.

The ethos showcases an accomplishment in self-realization of aesthetic views of both Eastern and Western cultures. Wong attempts to vitalize certain built-in imageries and present the visual world via a dynamic interaction for human passion with the environment and the universe. In retrospect about the reciprocity between poetry and art, Cymn’s artistic attainments are expanding into a vivid oasis that she has been stimulated in an international platform.
Three turning points of creativity for Cymn Wong...
