Clear sea blue abstract oil and resin painting by Erin Parish, whose trademark works of art are marked by the repetition of circular forms and the influence of her diverse set of interests that include the tranquility of the ocean, the meditative tenets of Buddhism, and aesthetics of Wabi Sabi. Parish is also inspired by the dotted works of Yayoi Kusama; and the utopian quality of German Expressionism. She draws on patterns found in nature while exploring the ways in which they mirror each other at both a microscopic and macroscopic level.
The painting is 36 x 72 inches, and is created with oil and resin on canvas. This is a triptych — there are three stretched canvases that hang side by side to create one single work of art.
