Intermingled 1

Artist Commentary: For ten years I lived in Minnesota and had a studio in Northeast Minneapolis, which I loved. When I moved to the city, I began to paint compositions of abstracted crowds of people as imagined from above. Can you envision this painting as a large crowd of people? You can hang this either horizontally or vertically. A little impressionistic in expression, this painting also reminds me of a garden of happy flowers. Keywords: color, abstract, movement, motion, circles, yellow, bubbles, gray, orange, colorful, texture, busy Details about the piece: - This is a hand painted, original painting - Created in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - Artist now lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland, USA - Professional grade oil paints and ArtResin on wood panel - Other materials include professional grade watercolor and oil pastel - Wood Panel with Birchwood face and 1.5" Poplar wood cradle - Ready to hang with wires and D ring - Signed on the back - Certificate of authenticity and care sheet included with original Artist Biography: Farida Hughes’ lively and intriguing abstract paintings take their inspiration from the gathering and dispersing of crowds, group relationships, and shared histories and stories of people. Talk To Me, Original Contemporary Abstract Painting Original abstract painting 48 x 48 x 1.5 inches Oil on canvas Original artwork signed by the artist Artwork is unframed, images containing frames are sample imagery only In the artist's words: New technologies have transformed the way in which we communicate. It is exciting and motivating to see how they disseminate information, educate and empower the exchange. Art is not isolated from the social and cultural context. Participate, is part of that and transforms it. By intertwining concepts, feelings and ideas, we can communicate at different levels and in different ways. This is how working on wooden boards or canvases, I blend different materials, such as oil paintings, wires and sand. Creating allegorical landscapes, I represent how we connect with each other through communication, be it physical, mental or spiritual. Chilean- American artist, Michele Krauss...

The title further amplifies the sense of mystery. In the forefront, the lively red shades instantly seize your gaze, introducing fervor and vitality to the painting, which interact dynamically with the cooler, richer greens in the background. The green tones provide a serene and soothing contrast to the red, generating a tranquil atmosphere. The amalgamation of these prominent colors imparts an enigmatic essence to the artwork."
