About the Item
Contemporary abstract acrylic on canvas textured painting by Polish artist Franciszek Ledochowski. Painting resembles action painting however Ledochowski places each brushstroke strategically. Main colors are fluorescent green black and white.
FRANCISZEK LEDÓCHOWSKI (born in 1981) Studied at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw (where he was influenced by Franciszek Starowieyski), École Supérieure des Beaux Arts d’Angares in France and at the faculty of graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He graduated in 2007. Franciszek Ledóchowski about his work: “What fascinates me the most is ambiguity. I have always tried to find such motifs which do not impose on viewers any unequivocal associations, moods, emotions, thus induce the strong need for interpretation. Sometimes through their uniqueness, or in the contrary, through their indifference. This way, I reach the fundamentals of human perception of the world, this primary feature of the human mind- the need to define.”

Franciszek Ledóchowski
Franciszek Ledóchowski was born on August 1, 1981, in Poland. He studied at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw, where he was influenced by Franciszek Starowieyski, École supérieure des beaux-arts d'Angers in France and at the faculty of graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
