BLOBS. THE CHARM OF DRIPPING PAINT
Flowing peacefully in the slow current of a narrow trickle between the feeling of senselessness and some deeply hidden hope or – rather – the need for sense, my painting is closing a subsequent circle. It is one more effort to reach the core, the essence of the nature of light and colour which actually is the essence of the substance ascribed to the job to which the painter is doomed. What I have in mind is the paint flowing across the canvas – its liquid structure which, shaped sparingly by the will of a noble tool, as well as the force of gravity, sometimes happens to become a universal message. One can recognise this message by its sound, accompanied by one’s being particularly moved. Every very tiny particle, which has for years been made sensitive, begins to resonate in accordance with the harmony now appearing, while the seductive sound which accompanies it is capable of leading one into ecstatic vibration.
Grzegorz Radecki is a Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland.
Painter and graphic artist, born in 1961 in Ostróda.
Since 1981 he has been living and working in the Tri-City.
Studies at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in the studios of prof. W. Łajming and J. Zabłocki. He obtained his diploma in 1986.
Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and Art in 1987.
From 1987 employed at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk.
Participant and winner of many national and international exhibitions and competitions.

Grzegorz Radecki
Grzegorz Radecki is a Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland. Painter and graphic artist, born in 1961 in Ostróda. Since 1981 he has been living and working in the Tri-City. Studies at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in the studios of prof. W. Łajming and J. Zabłocki. He obtained his diploma in 1986. Currently, he runs a painting and drawing studio at the Interdepartmental Institute of Art Sciences. Participant and winner of many national and international exhibitions and competitions.
