Abstract expressionist figurative composition of a nude woman by California artist Harald "Harry" Dry Schmidt (American, 1933-1979). Bright, bold colors are used to make up the figure, with a semi- textured appeal. The woman appears nude, with colors of yellow, blue and purple making up her body. She is holding an object in her hands, with her black curly hair laying along her arm. Harald was an eclectic San Francisco Abstract and Outsider artist from 1960-1990.
Signed and dated "Dryschmidt '73" on verso.
