Things feel fractured right now. Disjointed, uncertain, a bit chaotic. I've been leaning into that messiness rather than trying to smooth it over. This piece holds that tension between structure and collapse, clarity and confusion. It's imperfect and raw, because that's how everything feels lately.

Ilana Greenberg is a painter, illustrator and graphic designer living in her beloved hometown of Brooklyn. Her abstract paintings draw inspiration from mid-century modern masters as well as the fast-paced and ever-changing city she calls home. Largely self-taught, Ilana finds painting to be the best form of meditation. She is drawn to minimal and clean lines and strives for a little imperfection in all of her work. She is the owner of the Ilana Greenberg Gallery in Brooklyn, where she showcases her work and the work of local emerging artists.
