About the Item
The work took part in the exhibition
2023, "Ukraine residence of FREEDOM," Riga, Latvia
The second work of the triptych "Dance with a Fan" (“Dance with a Fan” Series)
The work "Dance with a Fan" explores the theme of inner strength, hidden behind delicate movements and gestures. The fan here acts as a symbol of the transformation of emotions and states through movement, reflecting the ability of art to convey complex experiences without the need for verbal expression.
The dance with a fan is an expression of feelings pushed to the limit. The language of the fan is a unique art form that allows for conversation from a distance. With a fan, much can be said without uttering a word, even arranging a meeting at a specific time. It’s no surprise that the fan remains an important and symbolic element in many cultures around the world.
The interaction of elements leaves room for personal associations, creating a dialogue between the viewer's inner world and the artistic intention. An important aspect is the invitation to reflect on how subtle movements and invisible gestures can become powerful sources of strength and resilience in conditions of constant change.
Work is presented with a mat, frame, and plexiglass.
The painting is ready to hang.
