About the Item
The third work of the “Open Touch” polyptych
(Series “Dance with a Fan”)
A fan in the dancer’s hands is an extension of their movement, thoughts, and emotions. It carves trajectories in the air, leaving behind rhythm and energy, turning space into a living dialogue. “Open Touch” is the moment when this dialogue reaches its culmination, when a single movement becomes decisive, when a touch reveals a new meaning.
A bright, open brushstroke pierces the dark structure like a flash of realization, the point where dance transitions from chaos to pure expression. The fan does not simply move—it interacts, creates space for the new, and draws the viewer into its rhythm. Here, the energy of the dance is not fixed; it continues, extending beyond the canvas.
This polyptych is about inner resilience, which is born in movement. Dance is the art of anti-fragility, a way to experience emotions and transform them into strength. It teaches how to balance between tension and freedom, how to find stability within the flow. “Open Touch” is an invitation to feel this moment, to let movement pass through you, and to become part of it.
