Iryna Rets
"Tango Rhythms" 3 of triptych

2023

About the Item

The third work of the triptych "Tango Rhythms" (“Dance with a Fan” Series) The series "Dance with a Fan — a Story without Words" immerses the viewer in a world of movements and gestures where there is no need for words to convey complex emotions and experiences. Each work in the series is a visual narrative where the movement of the fan becomes the central element of the story. The fan here acts as a symbol of delicacy, elegance, and hidden inner strength, expressed through fluid movements. The series focuses on moments that cannot be expressed in words but can be felt through the dance of lines, color, and form. The fan is not just a decorative element but a tool for expressing the inner world and emotions. It symbolizes the dialogue between the visible and the hidden, the external and the internal, where each work reflects the movement of the soul striving for freedom and harmony. The silent gestures and movements invite the viewer to read this "story" and find their own meanings within it. The play of light and shadow, the contrast of forms and movements, create a sense of continuous interaction between the inner world and external reality. In this series, a dance of emotions unfolds before the viewer, coming to life in visual images and creating a universal language understood without words. Work is presented with a mat, frame, and plexiglass. The size of artwork Height: (31 cm) Width: (31 cm) Depth: (2 mm) The size with frame Height: (46 cm) Width: (46 cm) Depth: (1.3 cm)
