About the Item
Abstract minimalist artist Jason DeMeo presents a collection of artworks designed to engage viewers in a meditative experience, drawing them closer to the enduring ideals of truth, beauty, and goodness. With a focus on appreciating medium and form, DeMeo's original paintings exemplify simplicity, balance, symmetry, order, and harmony, conveying a sense of timeless elegance.
This large artwork measures 72 inches tall by 48 inches wide. Using acrylic paint, ink, spray paint, oil stick, and plaster on linen, the artist has created a distinctive piece that carries his signature on both the front and back. The painting comes stretched, wired, and ready to be displayed, eliminating the need for additional framing. Free delivery is available for those in the local Los Angeles area, and affordable worldwide shipping is available for US and international art collectors. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included with this distinctive painting.
DeMeo focuses on exploring a concept that he has coined Synthesism. It stems from the definition of the word synthesis: “the combining of often diverse elements into a coherent whole.” This theme of blending, combining, and remixing in many disciplines, especially music, architecture, and even culture leading to the growth of the community is captured in his work. Modernism constructs, Post-modernism deconstructs, and Synthesism combines. Each of DeMeo’s artworks includes elements of precision and organic creation. The sharp lines offer a balancing contrast to the details of drips, splashes, or scrapings that bring life to his work. DeMeo carefully layers each color while paying attention to their relationships and the weight of each brushstroke. Every artwork offers intrinsic details and textures at a closer glance.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, DeMeo now resides in Central Florida. Through his art, he explores universal themes, drawing inspiration from his diverse personal experiences, philosophies, and emotions. Deeply committed to the transformative power of art, DeMeo's uplifting creations, infused with positive affirmations, have been collected across the United States.

Not Thinking - Large Original Abstract Expressionism Painting on Canvas
By Bruce Rubenstein
Located in Los Angeles, CA
The paintings of Bruce Rubenstein seamlessly marry sophistication with affordability. His original art merges the creative attitudes of the two distinct art hot spots of New York and Los Angeles. Rubenstein's work has a rigid edge and strong composition but maintains organic shapes and soft colors as well. His works have a character that brightens a space. His paintings pull from abstract expressionism and cubism but maintain a contemporary edge that strikes the viewer. His work seems collectively new and timeless at once.
This large affordable one-of-a-kind 52 inch high by 77 inch wide and 1.75 inch deep artwork is a mixed media composition on canvas. It is stretched, wired, and ready to hang. This large abstract painting is signed by the artist on the front and back of the artwork. The sides are painted and it does not require framing. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. Provenance: Artplex Gallery. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. While the artist has chosen to keep the price upon request, this captivating piece embodies both sophistication and exceptional value.
Bruce Rubenstein specializes in large-scale artworks, using huge canvases to tell his stories. Born and raised in New York, he moved to Los Angeles in 1985. His mixed media artworks defy categorization, blending abstract forms and organic shapes with subtle hints of figures and symbols. Adrien Brody and Mickey Rourke are among Rubenstein’s collectors.
Bruce Rubenstein’s artistic influences include artists from Joan Miró and Jean Arp to Gerhard Richter and Pablo Picasso. “He is an artist, and that means someone who cannot restrain the flow of ideas,” says author David Rodgers. “He is someone who they just burst out of, who cannot help but communicate, and who sees no reason to stop. He’s a man not limited by media to communicate the stories that he needs to (and must) tell, through any medium he feels necessary.”
His works are represented by Artplex Gallery Los Angeles and have been exhibited and collected worldwide, including exhibitions in Austria and Israel.

A807 - Large Scale Soft Minimalist Contemporary Color Field Abstract Painting
By Marco Schmidli
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Marco Schmidli’s "A807" is a large captivating abstract painting that merges ethereal textures, atmospheric washes, and gestural marks in a soft yet dynamic composition. The interplay of deep crimson, soft blues, and neutral tones creates a weathered, almost celestial aesthetic, reminiscent of distressed frescoes or aged patina surfaces. This large-scale contemporary artwork exudes a sense of mystery and movement, making it a perfect statement piece for modern interiors seeking organic movements and meditative depth.
Swiss born artist Marco Schmidli creates minimalist paintings with a contemporary edge. Placing emphasis on process, he lets the mediums naturally manifest within his artwork. “An important aspect of my artwork is the removal of my own artistic hand. Instead of controlling and demanding the paint move and act a certain way, I let the paint naturally manifest and express its pure form/ true colors/ most natural movement.” Schmidli's work is known for its sensitive surfaces and subtle textures. He has developed specialized techniques for applying and layering color, giving depth to his paintings.
The textural nuances and expansive scale of "A807" evoke both intimacy and grandeur, making it a versatile statement piece for collectors seeking to transform their spaces. Its calming palette and layered abstract forms invite contemplation, imbuing any environment with elegance and depth.
In "A807", a 96-inch tall by 72-inch wide abstract composition, Schmidli showcases his signature approach of letting the medium naturally manifest, creating an ethereal and evocative piece. Swirling purple tones juxtaposed against a soft, misty palette of blues, whites, and muted pastels give this artwork an atmospheric and meditative quality, reminiscent of color field studies with a contemporary edge.
Schmidli studied photography and fine art in Switzerland and Rome. He worked as a photographer and painter in Zurich and then in 1989 he moved to California. In addition to fine art, Schmidli’s work has graced the film and entertainment industries, from fashion spreads to celebrity portraits, music videos, and red-carpet events. His paintings have been featured in iconic publications like Vogue, Flaunt, and Harper’s Bazaar, as well as campaigns for brands such as Nike and Balenciaga.
