OLIVE PAPAYA
'Olive Papaya' is all about colour and nature and is a vibrant and expressive walk through woodland bursting with life. Part of a collection of work based on a palette drawn from a 1930's Japanese book of colour combinations. Each painting is reflecting on the way it feels to be in the landscape using colour and marks to describe those sensations. The painting is acrylic with some other media on stretched canvas. Fully varnished and framed in a deep tray frame, it is ready to hang on your wall.

PERIWINKLE WANDERINGS
Periwinkle Wanderings is a gorgeous abstract landscape that draws on the natural world for shape, colour and atmosphere. A study in colour, balancing the blue with pops of colour to bring a peaceful but striking piece. The colours are chosen from a 1930s Japanese book of colour palettes and the rhythm of the landscape is influenced by the environment around me in Scotland. The painting is presented in a lovely deep frame painted white, varnished with UV protective, anti-yellowing varnish and so is ready to hang on your wall.
