Jürgen Reichert, 1953 in Mannheim geboren, studierte 1975-81 an der Hochschule der Künste in Berlin und 1981/82 am Royal College of Art in London, 1980 Meisterschüler bei Professor Hann Trier.
Farbe als Material in der Fläche, in der Tiefe zum Eintauchen in den Raum, manchmal leicht und wolkig zum Schweben, dann aber auch strukturell gefügt um Halt zu geben, nie starr zementiert, immer in Bewegung, in die Unendlichkeit gesetzt – Farbflächenmalerei von Jürgen Reichert.
Jürgen Reichert nimmt uns mit auf ausgedehnte Gedankenspaziergänge. Im Zirkus der Farben ist er der unsichtbare Dompteur, der uns mit fachkundiger Hand in einen Farbzauber eintauchen lässt – was für eine Überraschung und Freude.
