Blue Timbre is part of Karen Hansen's atmospheric Etherea series. She describes the work as having lost and found edges. "Its endless shades of blue appear and glow and then dissipate as the main event moves across the piece," says Karen. "Do we ever see clearly?"

About the Artist
Karen’s abstract paintings are best described as an exploration in color. Often monochromatic, her work is a meditative and serene improvisation in the movement and depth of paint.
