Meditative abstract expressionist painting, on premium French linen with built up layers of paint revealing ghostly descriptive details and delicate mark making. Inspired by the vast Australian landscape, sunsets, hazy panoramic hinterland ranges and misty morning ocean views. Contrasting soft elegant pinks, mustard, gold, van dyke brown and hints of delicate grey against bright white make for drama and beauty. Painted on raw French linen that readily absorbs paint giving the surface a beautiful soft, flat, matt, textured finish. The perfect statement piece for that large blank dinning or living room wall or commercial work space. This is a extra large diptych work (double panel canvas) that hangs 220cm wide, can be hung together or individually.
