Maestro Katib Mammadov was born in 1963 Azerbaijan After completing the eighth grade of secondary school, he continued his studies at the Kirovabad vocational school. he graduated Moscow Institute Krupskaya in absentia at the department of easel painting and graphics, where he studied from 1985 to 1987. In 1987, by a happy coincidence, he ended up in Kharkov. From 1987 to 1988 he worked as an educational foreman of the sculpture department of the Kharkov Institute of Art and Industry. In 1988 he entered the Kharkov Institute of Art and Industry, Faculty of Sculpture. Since 1993 - lecturer at the Department of Sculpture, now the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts.
