About the Item
The sculpture entitled "Explosion" has an organic, seemingly spontaneous form, reminiscent of the moment of a powerful explosion or the process of expansion and deformation of a material. It is made of metal, most likely bronze, with a glossy polished surface that reflects light and creates a play of reflections.
The work symbolizes energy, dynamics and the uncontrolled power of destruction or creation. The massive textured form, which seems to be suspended in space, emphasizes the moment of explosive expansion.
The sculpture is installed on a simple cubic pedestal, which contrasts with its chaotic form and adds a sense of stability and balance. This may hint at the confrontation of order and chaos, stability and change.
