Mamma Mia and Turn the Heat Up is a diptych by Maggie Laporte-Banks. Many layers of paint are built up and sanded down several times with sand added and pure pigment brought from a festival in india. There is also an additional layer of spray paint that gives it a contemporary feel and look.
