About the Item
Abstract watercolour work by French artist Marc Tanguy. The work shows great colour and the fluidity of the lines are personal and touching. The work is in perfect condition, and frame can be added.
Marc Tanguy was born in 1959 in Paris where he lives and works. His works are presented in many collections around the world, where he participated in multiple exhibitions. He was trained by Zao Wou Ki during his studies at the National Superior School of Arts Decorative, where he now in turn teaches painting and drawing. His painting is inspired by the colorist figurative tradition represented by Monet, Bonnard Diebenkorn or Peter Doig: a sensitive recreation of the visible and of nature. The landscape is currently his favorite field of exploration. The borders between the image and the painting are blurred in sensitive and organic abstractions.
