Marcia Wise’s small oil painting “Gaudioso” is 12 x 18 inch and filled with vibrant reds, oranges, as well as with cooler blues and purples for contrast. Painting with brushes, using photo references from walks in the woods, Marcia crops her black and while photos to pull out elements, such as contrasts, and looks for compositions that excite and lead the eye. “Gaudioso” is a smaller canvas 12 x 18 x 1.5 inches, unframed with clean, white edges. It is signed on the front by the artist.
