“Preludio” by Marcia Wise is a 36 x 48 x 1.5 inch oil painting which is part of her “Tree” series exploring the colors of Autumn where earthy reds are balanced with greens amid oranges and yellows all dancing in a light breeze of blues which call us into the dramatic dance of renewal. This contemporary painting with its expressive use of color, along with strong brush strokes will bring light and joy into any interior setting. The work continues on all sides of the canvas making it optional to frame or not. Signed by the artist on the front.
Marcia Wise is a Massachusetts-based contemporary oil painter and educator whose paintings are inspired by nature's landscape forms and patterns, light effects and reflections, and the play of textures. Her work has been exhibited and collected nationally and internationally. Wise is represented by Fountain Street Gallery in Boston, MA.
